Melt the Unsalted Butter (1 Tbsp) and whisk half of it into the All-Purpose Flour (1 cup), Eggs (2), Salt (as needed), Ground Black Pepper (as needed), and Milk (1 cup).

Stir in Cheddar Cheese (1/3 cup), Dried Oregano (as needed) and Dried Thyme (4 tsp). Let the batter rest for an hour.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Put the rack in the upper third of the oven.

Butter a standard size muffin tin, or use two mini-muffin tins with the remaining Unsalted Butter (1 Tbsp) and put in the oven until it sizzles.
