Using a mixing bowl, toss the Apple (2), Pecans (1/3 cup), Brown Sugar (1/2 cup), and Ground Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon).
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Alternate layers of apples and Yam (34 ounce) in a greased 1.5 quart casserole dish. For example, start on the bottom with yams and apples for the next layer.
Place slices of Butter (1/4 cup) and Fresh Parsley (to taste) on top of the casserole. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
