Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Mix ground Ground Sweet Italian Sausage (1.5 lb) , Onion (1) , Carrot (1) , Fresh Baby Spinach (1 cup) , Garlic (1 clove) , Fresh Rosemary (1 sprig) , and Smoked Paprika (1 tsp) .
Step 2
Add Salt (1 pinch) , Ground Black Pepper (1 pinch) , and one of the Egg (1) in a bowl. Mush it together with clean hands thoroughly like you are making meatballs or meatloaf. Set the bowl aside.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and line two sheet pans with silicone mats or parchment paper.
Step 4
Crack the other Egg (1) into a bowl and beat it to make an egg wash. Take the Puff Pastry (3) and lay them out on a clean work surface. Cut them each in half lengthwise to have 6 strips total of puff pastry.
Step 5
Divide the sausage filling into 6 equal portions. Mold one of the portions into a log down the length of one of the puff pastry strips and repeat with the remaining 5 portions to fill each sausage roll.
Step 6
Roll each puff pasty sheet tightly to surround the sausage log. Then, brush each roll with egg wash, and sprinkle them with the Black Sesame Seeds (to taste) .
Step 7
Cut each roll into 6 equal pieces to have 36 pieces total. Line 18 pieces up onto each sheet tray. Bake the sausage rolls for 20 minutes.
Step 8
Reduce the heat to 350 degrees (175 degrees C) and bake them for another 10 minutes.
Step 9
When they are done, take them out and serve them immediately as a party bite or fun lunch!
Step 10
Serve and enjoy with Ketchup (to taste) .
