Demerara Sugar
3/4 cup
Water
1/4 cup
Dry Sherry
1/2 Tbsp
1/2 Tbsp
Fresh Sage , minced
1/2 Tbsp
Fresh Thyme , minced
1/4 tsp
1/4 tsp
Freshly Ground Black Pepper , ground
to taste
Lemons , zested

Author's Notes

The sauce is better if made the day before to give time for the flavors to meld together. Sauce will keep tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen up to one month.

In a medium saucepan over high heat, combine Fresh Cranberries (3 1/3 cups) , Demerara Sugar (2/3 cup) , Water (3/4 cup) , Dry Sherry (1/4 cup) , Fresh Rosemary (1/2 Tbsp) , Fresh Sage (1/2 Tbsp) , Fresh Thyme (1/2 Tbsp) , Salt (1/4 tsp) , Freshly Ground Black Pepper (1/4 tsp) , and Lemons (to taste) .
Step 2
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low heat.
