Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Grease bread pans with butter, so batter doesn’t stick.
Step 3
In a large bowl, add Granulated Sugar (3 cups) , Vegetable Oil (1 cup) , LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin (2 cups) , Eggs (4) , All-Purpose Flour (3 1/2 cups) , Baking Soda (1/2 Tbsp) , Salt (1/2 Tbsp) , Baking Powder (1 tsp) , Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp) , Ground Nutmeg (1 tsp) , Ground Allspice (1 tsp) , Ground Cloves (1/2 tsp) , and Water (2/3 cup) .
Step 4
Mix well with electric mixer.
Step 5
Hand mix optional ingredients such as a cup of semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips, pecans, or raisins into the bowl.
Step 6
Spoon in batter about halfway or a bit more in the loaf pans.
Step 7
Bake for about 1 hour until loaf is cooked and springs back. Be careful not to overcook; it makes the bread a bit dryer.
