Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Step 2
Zest the
Orange (1)
by lightly grating the outside, stopping when you see the bitter white part. Then squeeze the juice from the orange into a medium bowl.
Step 3
Dice the
Jalapeño Pepper (1)
finely and add to the bowl.
Step 4
Add the
Apple Jelly (1/2 cup)
to the bowl and mix. Microwave the mixture for 20 seconds just to smooth out any lumps.
Step 5
Chop the
Fresh Strawberries (1 cup)
into small pieces. Cut the
Fresh Cranberries (1 cup)
in half. Dice the
Apple (1)
.
Step 6
Place in a bowl and add the
Fresh Blueberries (1 cup)
and
Fresh Blackberries (1 cup)
.
Step 7
Finely chop the
Fresh Cilantro (1 cup)
and the
Tomatillos (2)
. Add these to the bowl of fruit.
Step 8
Add the apple jelly mixture to the fruit, and mix gently, taking care not to break the fruit. Set aside, stirring once every few minutes.
Step 9
Brush both sides of each
Flour Tortillas (8)
with
Butter (2 Tbsp)
Step 10
Sprinkle both sides with
Cinnamon Sugar (1 cup)
.
Step 11
Cut the tortillas into even wedges, like a pizza.
Step 12
Place all the wedges into a foil "bowl" and loosely close the foil up. Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for about 15 minutes, or until the chips are golden and crispy.
Step 13
Serve the chips warm with the fresh, cold salsa.
