Cooking Instructions

Add
Olive Oil (2 Tbsp)
to a pan on medium heat and let it get hot. Add
Onion (1)
and saute until translucent.

Mix in
Garlic (2 cloves)
, saute for 30 seconds, then add
Green Bell Peppers (1/4 cup)

Tomatoes (2)

Carrots (1/2 cup)

Chickpeas (2 cans)

Dried Basil (1/2 tsp)

Dried Parsley (1 tsp)

Dried Oregano (1/2 tsp)

Tomato Paste (2 Tbsp)

Add
Water (2 cups)
, then mix everything together until tomato paste is dissolved. Stir in
Salt (1 1/8 tsp)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)

Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer for 15 - 20 minutes, or until it thickens.

Cayenne Pepper (1/8 tsp)
