8 slices
White Sandwich Bread
3 Tbsp
3/4 cup
Sultanas

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 2
In a mixing jug, add Eggs (4) , Caster Sugar (1/4 cup) and Vanilla Extract (1 tsp) .
Step 3
Then add in Ground Cinnamon (1/2 tsp) , Milk (2 cups) , and Cream (1 1/4 cups) . Whisk together until mixture is smooth.
Step 4
Cut White Sandwich Bread (8 slices) in half diagonally and slather both sides with Butter (3 Tbsp) .
Step 5
Assemble them in a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle over half of the Sultanas (3/4 cup) , another layer of bread, and then the remaining sultanas.
Step 6
Pour custard mixture over top. Sprinkle with Caster Sugar (1 Tbsp) . Leave on counter for 10-15 minutes.
Step 7
Bake at for 30 minutes, or until custard has set and is lightly golden on top.
Step 8
Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Step 9
Serve and enjoy!
