Ingredients

1/3 cup Butter
1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Instant Coffee
1/3 cup Powdered Confectioners Sugar

STEP 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) .
STEP 2
Cream the Granulated Sugar (2/3 cup) and Butter (1/3 cup). Add the Egg (1) and Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon). Whisk until smooth.
STEP 3
Mix the All-Purpose Flour (3/4 cup), Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (1/3 cup), Salt (1/4 teaspoon), Baking Powder (1 teaspoon), and Instant Coffee (1/2 teaspoon). Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and incorporate, but don't overmix.
STEP 4
Cover the cookie dough mix with plastic wrap. Chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight.
STEP 5
Roll a piece of the dough into a ball, then drop it into the Powdered Confectioners Sugar (1/3 cup) to coat. Repeat with the rest of the dough. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
STEP 6
When the cookies are finished, let them sit on the counter for 2 minutes. Press Hershey’s Chocolate Kisses (to taste) into the tops of each of the cookies.

Serve and enjoy!
