Cook the Farfalle Pasta (12 ounce) according to box instructions.
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add Olive Oil (1 tablespoon) and the Butter (1 tablespoon). Saute the Onion (1) until translucent.
Add the Garlic (2 clove) and let cook for a minute. Add the Tomato Sauce (16 ounce) and the Dried Basil (1 1/2 teaspoon).
Cut the acidity of the tomatoes with Granulated Sugar (1 1/2 teaspoon). Add the Salt and Pepper (to taste) as well. Add the Heavy Cream (1/2 cup) and turn the heat off. Stir to mix.
Add the pasta back into the sauce and stir. Add the Parmesan Cheese (1/4 cup).
