Step 1
Cook the
Farfalle Pasta (12 oz)
according to box instructions.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add
Olive Oil (1 Tbsp)
and the
Butter (1 Tbsp)
. Saute the
Onion (1)
until translucent.
Step 3
Add the
Garlic (2 cloves)
and let cook for a minute. Add the
Tomato Sauce (2 cups)
and the
Dried Basil (1/2 Tbsp)
.
Step 4
Cut the acidity of the tomatoes with
Granulated Sugar (1/2 Tbsp)
. Add the
Salt (to taste)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
as well. Add the
Heavy Cream (1/2 cup)
and turn the heat off. Stir to mix.
Step 5
Add the pasta back into the sauce and stir. Add the
Parmesan Cheese (1/4 cup)
.
