Author's Notes

For TortillaLand® Fresh Ready to Cook Tortillas:

1. Preheat a non-stick pan to medium heat (440ºF). No butter or oil required.

2. Place tortilla in a pan and cook for 30 seconds until slightly golden and tortilla begins to puff.

3. Turn tortillas over, and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Cook thoroughly before eating. Caution: tortilla will be hot. Enjoy!

Keep refrigerated until ready to use. Do not mix cooked and uncooked tortillas. Try cooking the tortillas on the grill or BBQ - grill tortillas until they have grill marks on both sides.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Step 2
Combine the Broccoli Slaw (2 cups) , Mayonnaise (1/4 cup) , Granulated Sugar (1 tsp) , juice of 1/2 of the Lime (1) , Hot Sauce (1/2 Tbsp) , and Mirin (1 Tbsp) together in a bowl with Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste) .
Step 3
Season the Cod Fillets (1 lb) with Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste) and put it on a sheet tray. Cook in the oven for 5-10 minutes depending on thickness.
Step 4
Slice the Jalapeño Pepper (1) and Avocado (1) . It's up to you if you want the jalapeno with or without seeds.
Step 5
Assemble the tacos topping the TortillaLand® Flour Tortillas (6) with cod, sliced jalapeno, slaw, sliced avocado, Fresh Cilantro (to taste) , Sriracha (to taste) , and a squeeze of the remaining lime juice.
