Step 1
In a large bowl, add
Pickle Juice (1 cup)
and
Milk (1/2 cup)
. Whisk until combined and place
Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast (1)
.
Step 2
Marinate chicken breast in the mixture for at least 6 hours.
Step 3
For the breading, add
All-Purpose Flour (1/2 cup)
,
Salt (1 tsp)
,
Ground Black Pepper (1 tsp)
,
Onion Powder (1 tsp)
and
Powdered Confectioners Sugar (1 tsp)
into a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
Step 4
In another bowl add an
Egg (1)
and
Milk (1/2 cup)
. Whisk until combined.
Step 5
Remove the chicken from the marinade and place into the egg wash coating it all over followed by the flour mixture then back to the egg wash and finally once more in the flour mixture.
Step 6
Heat
Peanut Oil (as needed)
in a deep sauce pan to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 7
Place the breaded chicken and fry for 8-10 minutes untill the coating is golden brown. Drain with a paper towel.
Step 8
To assemble, place
Pickle Slices (2)
on the bottom half of
Hamburger Buns (2)
then lay the fried chicken on top then top with the other bun.
