Step 1
In a bowl, combine
Dijon Mustard (1/4 cup)

Honey (1/4 cup)

Orange Marmalade (1/4 cup)

Preheat the deep fryer with
Vegetable Oil (as needed)
to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Slice the
Scallions (1 bunch)
. Dice the
Sweet Onion (1/2)
and
Jalapeño Pepper (1/2)

In a large mixing bowl, combine
Cornmeal (1 cup)

Self-Rising Flour (3/4 cup)

Granulated Sugar (1/2 tsp)

Salt (1 tsp)
, and
Cayenne Pepper (1/2 tsp)

Add sliced green onions, diced onion, diced jalapeno,
Shredded Cheddar Cheese (1/4 cup)

Corn (1/2 cup)

Step 5
Add
Egg (1)
and
Buttermilk (1 cup)
. Mix well and set aside.

Form small balls with wet hands and fry for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden and brown.

Remove and drain on a paper towel lined plate. Work in batches.
