Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Whisk together Egg (2), Milk (1/2 cup) and Vanilla Extract (1/2 teaspoon). Add All-Purpose Flour (1/2 cup) and Salt (1 pinch) just until incorporated.
Peel, core and thinly slice the Apple (1). Add Butter (2 tablespoon) into a medium to high heat cast iron skillet. When melted, add apples, Ground Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon) and Ground Nutmeg (1 pinch) Cook 2 minutes until softened.
Add Brown Sugar (1/4 cup) and let caramelize slightly.
Pour batter evenly over the top and place into oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
