Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease two loaf pans.
Step 2
Beat Granulated Sugar (2 2/3 cup) and Vegetable Shortening (2/3 cup) together in a bowl until fluffy.
Step 3
Stir Butternut Squash (2 cup), Egg (4) and Water (2/3 cup) in the sugar mixture.
Step 4
Mix dry ingredients together: All-Purpose Flour (3 1/3 cup), Baking Powder (2 teaspoon), Salt (1 1/2 teaspoon), Ground Cinnamon (1 teaspoon), and Ground Cloves (1 teaspoon).
Step 5
Add Chopped Pecans (2/3 cup) and Raisins (2/3 cup). Mix all ingredients together.
Step 6
Pour into prepared pans.
Step 7
Bake for about 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
Step 8
Cool before removing and then slice to serve. Enjoy!
