Caramelized Fruits

reserve the orange carcasses

Apples , sliced
or Fresh Fruit of Choice
to taste

Waffle

1 Tbsp
Baking Powder
2
Large  Eggs , separated
1 1/2 cups
Whole Milk
1 cup
Butter , melted

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, combine All-Purpose Flour (2 cup), Granulated Sugar (3/4 cup), and Baking Powder (3 1/2 teaspoon). In another bowl, lightly beat the Egg (2). Add Whole Milk (1 1/2 cup), Butter (1 cup), and Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon); mix well.
Step 2
Stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into batter.
Step 3
Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer’s directions until golden brown.
Step 4
Melt and slightly brown the Butter (2 ounce) in a frying pan.
Step 5
Add some of the Sunkist Orange (2), Apple (2), Grapes (to taste), and Granulated Sugar (to taste). Sauté until the fruits are lightly caramelized.
Step 6
Add some juice from the leftover orange pieces, and cook until slightly thickened. Then remove from heat.
Step 7
Serve the waffles with the caramelized fruits and syrup of your choice.
