Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 2
Roughly chop Carrots (2) into quarters.
Step 3
Roughly chop Yellow Onion (1) into quarters.
Step 4
Peel and crush Garlic (4 cloves) with a knife.
Step 5
Slice Lemon (1) into roughly six pieces.
Step 6
Stuff inside of Tyson® Whole Chicken (1) with lemon, large garlic clove, and Fresh Thyme (1 bunch) . Scatter carrots and onions on roasting tray around chicken.
Step 7
Drizzle top of chicken liberally with Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (to taste) .
Step 8
Season with Salt (to taste) and Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste) .
Step 9
Place in oven for an hour and a half, or until cooked through. Every 500 grams of chicken will need about 30 minutes in the oven.
Step 10
Transfer to a serving plate and surround the chicken with roasted veggies. Enjoy!
