Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 2
Chop Cauliflower (1 head) into florets.
Step 3
Steam cauliflower florets over about five centimeters of simmering water. Steaming should take about eight minutes. Make the cheese sauce in the meantime.
Step 4
Melt Salted Butter (3 1/2 Tbsp) in a saucepan over medium heat.
Step 5
Add All-Purpose Flour (1/2 cup) and whisk to combine.
Step 6
Reduce heat to low and allow mixture to cook for about two minutes, or until thickened. Keep stirring throughout to prevent from burning.
Step 7
Gradually add in the Milk (2 cups) , continuing to whisk.
Step 8
Continue to whisk and cook until the mixture thickens, about ten minutes.
Step 9
Put cauliflower florets into a baking dish and cover with the cheese sauce. Season with Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste) .
Step 10
Add additional Mature Cheddar Cheese (2/3 cup) on top.
Step 11
Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C), or until cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
Step 12
Serve and enjoy!
