Step 1
Preheat oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F). Grease and flour a loaf pan or muffin tin.
Step 2
In small bowl combine Eggs (3) , Orange Juice (1/2 cup) , Milk (1/2 cup) , Oil (1/2 cup) and set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl sift together All-Purpose Flour (1 3/4 cups) , Salt (1/2 tsp) , and Baking Powder (1 Tbsp) . When dry ingredients are sifted, add Granulated Sugar (1 1/2 cups) and mix.
Step 4
Make a well in center of dry ingredients and pour wet mixture in well. Stir until thoroughly combined.
Step 5
Place batter in prepared loaf pan and bake in oven for 35 minutes. If making muffins, bake for 20-25 minutes.
Step 6
Allow the cake to cool. Then sprinkle with Powdered Confectioners Sugar (as needed) and 1 1/2 tsp of Orange Zest (1) , if desired. You have completed the orange cake recipe in the pastry master challenge!
