Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and line a bread tin with parchment paper and lightly grease with
Nonstick Cooking Spray (as needed)

Into a large bowl, combine the
All-Purpose Flour (2 cups)
,
Baking Soda (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Salt (1/2 tsp)
,
Ground Ginger (1 1/2 Tbsp)
,
Ground Cinnamon (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Ground Allspice (1 tsp)
, and
Ground Nutmeg (1/2 tsp)
.
Step 3
In a medium-sized bowl add the
Apple Sauce (1 cup)
and whisk in the
Vegan Butter (1/3 cup)
,
Brown Sugar (1 cup)
,
Egg Replacer (2)
,
Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
, and
Almond Milk (1/3 cup)
. Whisk just till combined.
Step 4
Add the flour mixture to the apple sauce mixture and stir with a wooden spoon to well combine.
Step 5
Transfer batter to the baking tin and bake for 50-55 minutes.
Step 6
While the loaf bakes, make the glaze by combining the
Powdered Confectioners Sugar (1/2 cup)
and
Water (1 tsp)
in a bowl. Stir until combined.
Step 7
Cool for 5 minutes in the bread tin and remove and cool completely on the wire rack. Serve with vegan butter or drizzle whole loaf or each piece individually with the glaze!
