Cooking Instructions
1.
Preheat your waffle maker.

For the waffles, mix the All-Purpose Flour (1 3/4 cups), Brown Sugar (4 Tbsp), Baking Powder (2 tsp), and Salt (1/2 tsp) together in a medium bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the Whole Milk (1 cup), Buttermilk (1/2 cup), Yolks of the Eggland's Best Classic Eggs (2), Butter (1/2 cup), and Vanilla Extract (1 tsp) and add to the dry mixture. Stir to combine.

Whisk the Egg Whites until foamy and add the Cream of Tartar (1/8 tsp). Whisk until the egg whites form soft peaks.

Gently fold the egg whites into the batter.

Spray the preheated waffle maker with non-stick spray, and pour batter in. Set to highest heat. Flip over after a few minutes. Waffles are done when they are golden. Immediately place on a cooling rack to keep crispy.

For the chai-spiced maple syrup, place the Maple Syrup (1 cup), Water (4 Tbsp), Butter (2 Tbsp), Ground Ginger (1/2 tsp), Ground Cloves (1/4 tsp), Ground Allspice (1/4 tsp), Ground Nutmeg (1/4 tsp), Ground Cardamom (1/4 tsp), and Simply Organic Cinnamon, Ground (1 pinch) in a saucepan over medium/high heat.

Bring to a rolling boil and then set the timer for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and cool until warm.
9.
Serve the waffles with the maple syrup and some whipped cream if desired!
