Step 1
To a bowl, add
Semolina (1 cup)
,
Rice Flour (1 cup)
,
Whole Wheat Flour (1 cup)
and
Salt (to taste)
. Add
Water (to taste)
as required and make a thin batter.
Step 2
Chop
Fresh Ginger (1)
,
Onion (1)
,
Green Chili Pepper (2)
,
Curry Leaves (to taste)
,
Fresh Cilantro (to taste)
, and
Fresh Mint Leaves (to taste)
.
Step 3
To a pan pour
Oil (2 Tbsp)
and add
Black Lentils (1/4 tsp)
. Once it starts to change color add
Cumin Seeds (1/4 tsp)
, chopped ginger, green chilly and onion.
Step 4
Saute well for some time and switch off the flame and add
Asafoetida (1/4 tsp)
, chopped mint, coriander and curry leaves. Add this to the dosa batter. Combine well and keep the batter aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 5
Heat a tawa and pour a laddle full of batter and swirl to all sides. Drizzle some oil or ghee if required. When one side is done flip and cook the other side. Serve hot with chutney or sambhar. You can eat even with out any curry,
