Author's Notes

If you like really spicy salsa, substitute the green pepper for green chilies, and add extra cayenne pepper to taste. Serve this salsa straight away or store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Place Canned Whole Peeled Plum Tomatoes (1 1/2 cups) , Cherry Tomatoes (10) , Tomato Paste (3 Tbsp) , juice from Lemon (1) , White Onion (1/2) , Green Bell Pepper (1/2) , Fresh Parsley (1 handful) , and Garlic (2 cloves) .
Step 2
Follow with Cayenne Pepper (1/4 tsp) , Ground Cumin (1/2 Tbsp) , Paprika (1 tsp) , Dried Mixed Herbs (1/2 tsp) , Sea Salt (1 tsp) , Ground Black Pepper (1/2 tsp) , and Honey (1/2 Tbsp) in a blender or food processor.
Step 3
Pulse until you are happy with the consistency. Enjoy with chips or crackers.
