Step 1
Combine the
Apples (2)

Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp)

Ground Cinnamon (1/2 tsp)

Ground Ginger (1/4 tsp)

Ground Nutmeg (1/4 tsp)

Ground Allspice (1/4 tsp)
and
Salt (1 pinch)
in a small bowl. Set aside.
Step 2
Stir together
All-Purpose Flour (1 cup)
,
Brown Sugar (1/4 cup)
,
Granulated Sugar (1/4 cup)
,
Ground Cinnamon (1/2 tsp)
and
Ground Ginger (1/4 tsp)
. Work in the
Butter (1/2 cup)
with your hands or fork until it is crumbly and has a sand-like texture. Set aside.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.
Step 4
In a bowl, stir together the
All-Purpose Flour (1 cup)
,
Baking Powder (1 tsp)
,
Salt (1/4 tsp)
, and
Ground Cinnamon (1/4 tsp)
. In a separate larger bowl, beat the
Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup)
and
Butter (1/4 cup)
together until light and fluffy. Whip in the
Eggs (2)
and
Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
.
Step 5
Reduce the mixer speed to low and add one tablespoon of
Dunkin' Donuts® Extra Extra Coffee Creamer (1/3 cup)
, then some of the flour mixture. Repeat, alternating between creamer and flour mixture until the batter is smooth.
Step 6
Gently fold in HALF of the reserved spiced apple mixture. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Step 7
Sprinkle HALF of the crumb topping on the bake batter. Layer the remaining spiced apples, then top with the remaining crumb topping.
Step 8
Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes clean. Do not overcook.
Step 9
Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Gently loosen the cake from the pan, and carefully invert and transfer to a serving plate.
Step 10
Best served warm.
