Alternatively, you can make the hearts of the palm in an oven or on the stove. Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 10 minutes, flipping halfway, or fry in a pan with 2-3 Tbsp of oil until golden brown.

For the vegan taco slaw, in a small bowl, whisk together Apple Cider Vinegar (1 Tbsp), Maple Syrup (1 Tbsp), Celery Salt (1 tsp), Dried Dill Weed (1 tsp), and Ground Black Pepper (as needed). Set aside.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine Red Cabbage (2 cups), Carrots (2), and Fresh Cilantro (1 handful). Next, add the dressing. Add more vinegar if necessary. Set slaw aside.
