step 1
In a large pot, add the Lean Ground Beef (1 lb) and break it apart.
step 2
In a separate pan add Vegetable Oil (1 tsp), Water (4 Tbsp) and place the Sausages (5) to boil.

Add in the Onion (1) and Garlic (2 cloves). Mix well and let the onions and garlic cook through on medium heat.
step 4
Add Chili Powder (2 Tbsp), Ground Black Pepper (as needed), Celery (2 stalks), Thai Chili Pepper (1), Poblano Pepper (1), Jalapeño Pepper (1), Red Bell Pepper (1), Carrot (1), Button Mushrooms (8), Canned Black Beans (2 cups), and Beer (1 bottle). Mix well.

Add Canned Diced Tomatoes (5 cups), Canned Tomato Purée (2 cups) and Bay Leaves (2). Continue to stir and mix well.

Mix in the Fresh Parsley (2 Tbsp), Brown Sugar (4 tsp) and Salt (1 tsp).

Slice the cooked sausages and add to the chili. Cover the pot and turn it up to a simmer for 2 1/2 hours.

Adjust for any salt or seasonings and top with Fresh Cilantro (to taste) if desired.
