Cooking Instructions

Step 1
In a pan over high heat add the Ground Beef (2 lb) to brown. After 2 minutes start breaking apart with a wooden spoon.
Step 2
In a small bowl add the Stewed Tomatoes (1 can) and use a stick blender to puree them.
Step 3
Season the ground beef with Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste) . Once almost fully cooked drain the fat from the pan leaving only about 1 tablespoon of the fat. Add in the Onion (1) and Green Bell Pepper (1) , mix and cook for about 2 minutes while continuing to break apart the meat.
Step 4
Add the stewed tomato puree, Marinara Sauce (1 can) and Tomato Paste (2/3 cup) to the pot. Season with Dried Oregano (1 Tbsp) , Dried Basil (1/2 Tbsp) , Smoked Paprika (2 Tbsp) , Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1 tsp) , Kosher Salt (1/2 Tbsp) , Celery Seeds (1/2 Tbsp) , Ground Black Pepper (1/2 Tbsp) . Turn the heat down to medium and add the Granulated Sugar (3 Tbsp) and Garlic (1/2 Tbsp) . Stir everything together.
Step 5
Set the heat to medium-low, cover the pot and continue to cook for 25 minutes.
Step 6
Adjust salt and pepper to taste. Stir in some Liquid Smoke (1/2 Tbsp) , Fresh Baby Spinach (7 1/2 cups) , Tomato (1) and stir. Cover again and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve with pasta and garnish with Parmesan Cheese (to taste) and Fresh Parsley (to taste) .
