Step 1
Add
Red Kidney Beans (2/3 cup)
,
Lima Beans (1/2 cup)
,
Zucchini (1/3 cup)
, and
Carrots (1/3 cup)
into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Step 2
Add
Olive Oil (as needed)
to pan and fry
Red Onion (1)
with
Mushrooms (1 cup)
and
Fresh Thyme (to taste)
.
Step 3
When the onions are brown, add in the bean mixture,
Oats (1 handful)
and
Fresh Parsley (1 handful)
. Season with
Salt (to taste)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
. Once everything is mixed well, remove from heat and cool.
Step 4
Once the mixture has cooled, add the beaten
Egg (1)
and
Rye Bread (1 cup)
. Leave in refrigerator for 15 minutes so it firms slightly. Meanwhile, heat oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F) and prepare an oven tray with a small amount of oil.
Step 5
Remove patty mixture from refrigerator and prepare a cutting board with flour. With floured hands, mold mixture into large patties. Place on oiled baking tray and cook in oven until tops are golden brown.
Step 6
Serve on
Hamburger Buns (4)
with
Tomato Sauce (to taste)
and
Fresh Baby Spinach (to taste)
