Beef Brisket (2.2 lb)

in a baking tray.
Step 2
Fill tray with water to cover the beef until the beef is almost completely covered.
Step 3
Cover the tray with foil.
Step 4
Place the tray in a preheated oven and cook for 45 to 50 minutes at 150 degrees C (300 degrees F). Cook for an hour per kilogram.

Chop the
Onion (1)

Green Bell Pepper (1)

Red Bell Pepper (1)
. and
Garlic (4)
. In a hot pan, add the
Vegetable Oil (3 Tbsp)
and add the chopped vegetables and garlic. Leave to sweat for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add the pulled beef,
Tomato Passata (2 cups)

Dried Oregano (2 Tbsp)

Ground Cumin (1/2 Tbsp)

Ground Black Pepper (1/2 tsp)

Garlic Powder (1/2 Tbsp)

Worcestershire Sauce (2 Tbsp)

Water (1 splash)

Bay Leaves (2)

Salt (1/2 Tbsp)

Step 7
Mix well and leave to cook for 45 minutes at medium heat.
Step 8
Add a splash of water throughout the cooking should you feel it is getting a little dry.
Step 9
Serve immediately with your favorite side or use it to fill arepas, baguettes or brioche buns. Enjoy!
