Step 1
Clean and prepare the
Prawns (12)
by trimming the legs and deveining. Add to a large mixing bowl.
Step 2
Crack an
Egg (1)
over the prepared prawns and stir to combine.
Step 3
Sift in
Nestlé® Chicken Powder (1 Tbsp)
,
All-Purpose Flour (1 Tbsp)
,
Corn Flour (1 Tbsp)
, and
Ground White Pepper (1 tsp)
into the large mixing bowl and toss until prawns are evenly coated.
Step 4
Fill a wok or dutch oven with
Vegetable Oil (as needed)
and heat until 340 degrees F (170 degrees C).
Step 5
Add prawns into the oil and deep fry for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Step 6
Thinly slice the
Red Bird's Eye Chili Pepper (4)
and remove the
Curry Leaves (20)
from their stem.
Step 7
Combine
Nestlé Nestum® Cereal (1 2/3 cups)
,
Nestlé® Chicken Powder (1 Tbsp)
,
Milk Powder (1 Tbsp)
,
Granulated Sugar (1 Tbsp)
, and
Ground White Pepper (1 tsp)
together in a medium mixing bowl.
Step 8
Melt
Butter (1/3 cup)
into a deep pan and add in the curry leaves and chilli and toss for 1 minute.
Step 9
Add in the Cereal mix and toast for another 2 minutes.
Step 10
Return the deep-fried Prawns into the pan and toss together for another minute until well coated and hot.
