TikTok has given us many crazy, a few dangerous, some stupid, a ton of cool ideas. But if there ever was a trend, everyone should get behind it’s hosting the most ultimate potluck evening, where no one gets assigned anything but dips! Obviously, don’t forget about an assortment of dippers and some drinks, but other than that, it should only be dips.

There are endless dip options and hundreds of recipes, savory or sweet, spicy or zesty, classic or unexpected, cheesy and gooey or creamy and sweet… endless. If you’re getting too excited and a bit overwhelmed already, just follow these steps:

  1. Make a list of friends with whom you want to indulge in the dip party extravaganza. (Make sure to stress that the dips must be homemade and not picked up at the corner store last minute).

  2. Only coordinate flavors. Assign a couple of sweet dessert kinds of dips and a few savory ones.

  3. Decide on the perfect dippers to prepare and some drinks you all enjoy.

  4. Set the time and location, and you’re all set.

A dip night is guaranteed to become your go-to choice of potluck from then on. But just to make sure you do it right, check out What Could Mess Up Your Potluck Party and How to Prevent It.

And to make it even more attractive for you, this collection is about to provide you with a further breakdown of possible dippers to choose from and every party dip recipe you can imagine. We even grouped all the recipes according to the amount of cooking time they require, so choosing which dip recipe you’d like to commit to is even easier.

You are welcome!

Then grouped the recipes based on the amount of time you are willing to invest in making them. So you have options for a well-thought-out dip night as well as a last-minute spontaneous dip gathering.
